Lockdowns at the Ranch

So COVID lockdowns have been somewhat disruptive, but we escape the dreadfulness every weekend to our ranch escape.  We are so happy we have this place.  I haven’t posted any updates since June since there hasn’t been much to update.  We will be going up to the North Carolina mountains again in three weeks.  We had the place painted as part of regular maintenance.  I’ll post pictures of that.  In the meantime, here’s the latest picture of our ranch cottage.

Two weeks in Paradise

I definitely know where I'm retiring.  Mid 70's during the day, upper 50's at night, in summer.

Getting Ready

We are getting ready for a two week trip to our "cabin" in the mountains of North Carolina.  I miss that place.  So we will skip the Ranch this weekend.

Getting Ready for the Weekend

This weekend will be the four year anniversary of us getting our RV lot at River Ranch.  To celebrate, we had our trailer washed and waxed today.  Can't wait to get there this afternoon!

We're back!

Finally!  We were able to sneak in a couple of days at the Ranch.  One of our favorite things to do is to stop at Hacienda Mexico, the best Mexican restaurant IMHO.  The trailer needs a serious wash and wax, so I won't post pics until that is done.  In the meantime, here is a picture of a Mocajete, my favorite Mexican dish.

2020 so far...

2020 has been quite a rollercoaster.  I apologize for not updating the blog.  My wife and I just moved into a new home we had built, and between that and the corona virus we've been somewhat preoccupied.  We won't be back to the ranch until late May.  So I'll post an update then.
