The AS is getting a wash and wax today from PCS (Professional Coach Services). I opened up the stone guards so they could wax the trailer behind them. She's going to look awesome!
A leaf blower is a required piece of equipment at River Ranch. You have to blow your site 3-4 times a day. We'd been using a corded Black & Decker blower, but I use it so much I got tired of the cord. My wife bought me a Sthil BG50 gas powered blower. Wow. This thing is awesome. Super light (7.9 lbs) and runs forever on a tankful.
It's a shame the first three days were rained out. And we have a previous commitment at our home we need to attend to. So we're leaving early. Sad. Maybe next year.
It's an ugly day again today! We had breakfast at a place called Flapjacks, did some more shopping, and are headed to the movies to see Hidden Figures. Might as well!
We had breakfast at Mel's Diner and did some shopping at Lowes. Got a Ryobi tire inflator. It's raining cats and dogs so I'm streaming HGTV all day. I've got an unlimited data plan on my iPad, so I'm good to go.
The obligatory pit stop at a Cracker Barrell. This one did not have trailer parking. Odd. Thankfully it's a Tuesday and the parking lot was empty. So I took up 6 parking spots...
So it's the eve of our trip to Alumaflamingo, and we are getting ready. We're stocking up on provisions, and putting some lithium grease on the hitch to avoid the creaking noises.
Alumaflamingo, the Airstream rally in Daytona Beach, starts this coming Tuesday! We're on the Airstream now getting ready to head on over. We're excited!
I'll be doing a daily post with pictures starting Tuesday.
My RV resort recently changed the bylaws allowing a single 8' x 5' shed instead of the two storage boxes that we have now. Yay! So we've decided on a Lifetime 8' x 5' shed.
We'll need a foundation, preferably concrete, before we can put this one down. And the installation video is crazy.
So add this to the "to do list". Coming soon to an RV park near you.
